Hunting Season Prices for 2024-2025
Spillman Creek Lodge is one of the finest hunting establishments in the Great Plains. Our trademark is the rooster-only, traditional pheasant hunt. We also offer fine chukar hunting. Unless stated otherwise, prices include guide, dogs, lunch, field transportation, and birds cleaned and packaged. Combination hunts are available.
Father-student discounts: 15% for students under 17, 10% for students 17 and over.
Controlled Shooting Area License - $30
Basic price for 6 rooster limit plus 3 meals and overnight stay: $575.
Basic price for 9 rooster limit plus 3 meals and overnight stay: $635.
License not included in price.
Other options available— increase limits, half-day hunts, and combination hunts.
Our extended season runs September 1 to March 31, but we mainly focus on late October-End of March.
We require no out-of-state license. Our daily package offers generous limits or you can make arrangements to set your own! A special permit to hunt on our controlled shooting area is $20.00 (price subject to change). We also accept Kansas resident and non-resident licenses. All licenses are available on site at Spillman.
TERMS AND RESERVATION POLICY
To reserve hunting date, a $100/hunter/day deposit is required. This will be refunded if reservation is canceled at least 2 weeks prior to date booked. If cancellation notice is less than 2 weeks prior to hunting date, the deposit will not be refunded but will be applied to adjust for hunter/guide ratio. If cancellation is less than 2 weeks but weather-related, the deposit may be used to schedule another date during the same hunting season.

Shotshell recommendations
Pheasant: 2 3/4" high brass #6 or #5
SCL requests no 3" or 3 1/2" shells be used when hunting
